Android is a smartphone. No loss if you buy this phone because besides wifi feature, GPS, etc, android can also be used as a hotspot. This is an effective step for us, no need to use the modem again.
How steps:
- Click on the home ==> setting
- Wireles and Network (formerly activate "Use of data Packets")
- Tethering and Portable Hotspot
- Check Mobile AP
- if succesfull will perform notification
If inteding to mobile AP configuration:
- Select the configuration of the mobile AP
- Content network SSID: SSID name to the hotspot network
- Security: Choose WPA2 PSK if you want to give the password, if not select the Open
- Enter the desired password hotspot
Weaknesses:
- Android gets hot
- Wasteful batteries
